The current week's scene of Supergirl commended an overdue Valentine's Day with a visit from an underhanded fifth-dimensional demon. A week ago's scene finished with Mxyzptlk showing up surprisingly and intruding on Kara and Mon-El's sentimental minute. Mxyzptlk came to announce his affection for Kara, and spent the whole scene attempting to motivate her to become hopelessly enamored with him. Mxyzptlk went ahead somewhat solid at in the first place, filling the flat with blossoms, candles, and a string quartet, before getting down on one knee and proposing. At that point the wicked demon went ahead much more grounded by bringing on inconvenience to make sure he could swoop in like Superman (really wearing a Superman ensemble) and spare the day.
Mxyzptlk declined to allow everybody to sit unbothered until Kara said "I do." So after Mxyzptlk vanquished Mon-El in a Hamilton-style duel, Supergirl prevented him from slaughtering Mon-El by saying that she would wed the demon. Supergirl met Mxyzptlk in the Fortress of Solitude for the wedding, in spite of the fact that, she had her very own fiendish arrangement. The best way to compel Mxyzptlk back to his own particular measurement was to motivate him to state his name in reverse. So Supergirl made that the way to prevent the Fortress of Solitude from exploding, and after Mxyzptlk unwittingly wrote in the letters, he was exiled back to his measurement. With Mxyzptlk out of the picture, there was nothing halting Mon-El and Kara from at long last kissing, finishing the Valentine's Day scene on the sentimental note everybody needed.
